Inspired by real events, this 2007 biopic profiles occultist Aleister Crowley, whose philosophy of unfettered experimentation with sex and drugs led him to set up a controversial commune based on the tenets of free will and the pursuit of knowledge. The film recounts the life of Aleister Crowley (Mike Ketcher) chapter by chapter, from his stint as a New York City painter to the 1920 founding of the Abbey of Thelema in Sicily to his eventual deportation by Mussolini.
Features Ron Jeremy as Father Pacianus, Vampire Don Henrie as the Angel Of Death, Lynn Mastio Rice as Leah Hirzig, Blandine Fromont as Ninette Shumway and other associates of Aleister Crowley during that time period.
Aleister Crowley (played by Mike Ketcher), world traveler, mountaineer, author, social critic, addict, practitioner of sex magick, English ceremonial magician, leader of Ordo Templi Orientis, was reported by the press to be “the wickedest man in the world”. Crowley has influenced countless people to this day and is without question one of the most controversial men of all time. A mysterious death shrouds the Abbey of Thelema in Italy , where Crowley is joined by author Mary Butts (Erin Marie Hogan), Hollywood actress Jane Wolfe (Brenda Sue Fowler),and an array of other colorful followers. Enriched by phenomenal original music, including “The Devil” and David Cherubim, and with cameos by The Vampire Don Henrie and Ron Jeremy.
