This title offers a rationale for magic and shows how to practise it, what works and what is superstitious nonsense. It also demonstrates how magic can help us live much more successful and satisfying lives. Vivianne Crowley weaves into the text her own personal story and experience of magic. At the age of 19 she was initiated into Wicca and at 20 into a Kabbalistic magical lodge. Since then she has trained hundreds of people in the techniques of contemporary magic.

Vivianne Crowley has a high-powered career as a social and economic researcher, advising governments and the European Union. With a PhD in psychology she lectures at the University of London and at Heythrop College. She is a well-known author.
