I particularly loved the story ‘The First People and the First Corn’, which is a North American Indian witch tale and explains how certain things came into being. If you want to learn more about real witch folklore, this book is a must read.”
Shahrukh Husain writes fiction, non-fiction and scripts for children and adults. She’s recently added a novel to the list. She is passionate about world mythology and folklore which provides a link between her two jobs: writing and psychoanalysis. She was born in Karachi, Pakistan and lives in London with her husband Christopher Shackle. She has two children, three step-children and half a dozen grand-children (she dropped the ‘step’ after the first generation).
